Compared to last week feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 2.00 lower on a light test There was moderate demand for feeder classes. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower. There was moderate demand for slaughter classes. Limited amount of comparisons and receipts due inclement weather and road conditions.
Supply included: 93% Feeder Cattle (46% Steers, 41% Heifers, 13% Bulls); 6% Slaughter Cattle (4% Heifers, 73% Cows, 23% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 49%.
