Compared to last week, feeder steers were unevenly steady with instances of 2.00-4.00 higher to 2.00-4.00 lower; heifers were mostly steady to 1.00 higher. Feeder cattle were in mostly moderate to good demand, with buyers showing the best demand for long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned cattle. Slaughter cows were mostly 1.00-2.00 lower, and slaughter bulls were mostly steady.

Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 42% Heifers, 16% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (1% Heifers, 84% Cows, 15% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (8% Stock Cows, 72% Bred Cows, 5% Bred Heifers, 14% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 51%.
