Compared to last week, feeder steers and bulls weighing below 550 lbs sold unevenly steady, 2.00 lower to 2.00 higher. Above 550 lbs sold 2.00 to 6.00 higher. Feeder heifers below 500 lbs sold mostly steady to 3.00 lower, above 500 lbs 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Yearlings were unevenly steady. There was moderate to good demand for all feeder classes with buyers showing best interest for weaned, thin fleshed feeder packages suitable for grass. Slaughter Cows and bulls were unevenly steady witn moderate to good demand for all slaugher classes.

Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (37% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 48% Heifers, 15% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 13% Slaughter Cattle (1% Steers, 2% Heifers, 81% Cows, 16% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (3% Stock Cows, 65% Bred Cows, 3% Bred Heifers, 25% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Heifer Pairs, 5% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 42%.
