Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady to 4.00 higher with exceptions 8.00 to 12.00 higher. Yearlings sold mostly 6.00 to 10.00 higher. There was good to very good demand for all feeder and yearling classes with good buyer participation. Strongest demand noted for weaned and pre-conditioned feeder packages suitable for grass. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 4.00 higher with moderate to good demand.

Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (36% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 47% Heifers, 17% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 15% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 0% Heifers, 86% Cows, 13% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (2% Stock Cows, 61% Bred Cows, 5% Bred Heifers, 28% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Heifer Pairs, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 37%.
