Compared to last week feeder steers sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher with exceptions sharply higher. Feeder heifers sold 3.00 o 8.00 higher with exceptions sharply higher. There was good to very good demand for all feeder classes with buyers showing best demand for weaned thinfleshed calves suitable for grazing. Slaughter cows sold mostly 2.00 to 4.00 higher and slaughter bulls steady to 3.00 higher with good demand for slaughter classes.

Supply included: 86% Feeder Cattle (36% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 45% Heifers, 17% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 10% Slaughter Cattle (1% Steers, 0% Heifers, 84% Cows, 15% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (3% Stock Cows, 63% Bred Cows, 7% Bred Heifers, 25% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Heifer Pairs, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 40%.
