Compared to last week feeder stees and heifiers sold unevenly steady with trends ranging from mostly from 4.00 lower to 4.00 higher. There were some exceptions throughout the week up to 10.00 higher. Demand was good to very good for all feeder and yearling classes with buyers showing high interest for weaned thin fleshed cattle suitable for grass. Slaughter cows and bulls were unevenly steady with moderate to good demand.

Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (39% Steers, 5% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 14% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 12% Slaughter Cattle (1% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 0% Heifers, 82% Cows, 16% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (3% Stock Cows, 58% Bred Cows, 6% Bred Heifers, 31% Cow-Calf Pairs, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 46%.
