Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold mostly 3.00 to 7.00 higher with instances throughout the week 12.00 to 15.00 higher. There was good to very good demand for all feeder and yearling classes with good offerings and good buyer activity this week. Long-weaned, preconditioned cattle were in the best demand. Slaughter Cows sold mostly steady to 4.00 higher and slaughter bulls steady to 3.00 higher with moderate to good demand for all slaughter classes.

Supply included: 86% Feeder Cattle (39% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 45% Heifers, 14% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (1% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 0% Heifers, 83% Cows, 16% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (3% Stock Cows, 58% Bred Cows, 16% Bred Heifers, 18% Cow-Calf Pairs, 2% Heifer Pairs, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 43%.
