Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers below 500 lbs sold mostly 2.00 to 5.00 higher with exceptions to sharply higher. Steers and heifers below 500 lbs were mostly steady to 4.00 lower. Yearling sold mostly steady. Demand for all feeder and yearling classes was good to very good for an average to good quality offering. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady to 4.00 higher with good demand.

Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (40% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 46% Heifers, 13% Bulls); 8% Slaughter Cattle (1% Steers, 1% Heifers, 81% Cows, 16% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (5% Stock Cows, 68% Bred Cows, 7% Bred Heifers, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 45%.
