Compared to last week feeder steers and heifers below 550 lbs sold mostly 2.00 to 4.00 higher with exceptions sharply higher. Steers and heifers above 550 lbs were mostly steady to 4.00 lower. There was moderate to good demand for all feeder classes. Yearlings sold steady to 2.00 higher on a light test this week. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady to 4.00 higher and bulls mostly steady to 2.00 higher with moderate to good demand.

Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (43% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 42% Heifers, 13% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 12% Slaughter Cattle (1% Heifers, 85% Cows, 14% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (5% Stock Cows, 58% Bred Cows, 17% Bred Heifers, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 51%.
