Compared to last week feeder steers sold mostly steady to 4.00 lower with instances to 4.00 higher early in the week. Feeder heifers and bulls sold unevenly steady with sales ranging from 2.00 lower to 2.00 higher. Yearling steers and heifers were unevenly steady. There was good demand for all feeder and yearling classes with buyers showing best interest in weaned and preconditioned calves. Slaughter cows and bulls were unevenly steady with moderate to good demand.

Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (40% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 45% Heifers, 14% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 12% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 0% Heifers, 86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (10% Stock Cows, 69% Bred Cows, 7% Bred Heifers, 13% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 49%.
