Compared to last week, feeder steers, bulls, and heifers sold mixed with instances 3.00 lower to 4.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good for all feeder classes. Yearling steers and heifers were steady to 2.00 higher with good demand. Buyers showed strongest interest in groups of long-weaned and preconditioned feeder cattle. Slaughter cows and bulls were unevenly steady. Prices ranged from 2.00 lower to 2.00 higher with moderate to good demand for all slaughter classes.

Supply included: 87% Feeder Cattle (41% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 14% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 9% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 1% Heifers, 85% Cows, 14% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (10% Stock Cows, 69% Bred Cows, 3% Bred Heifers, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 53%.
