Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold mostly 2.00 to 8.00 lower with instances 10.00 to sharply lower. There was mostly moderate demand with plain to good quality offerings and good buyer activity. Buyers showed best interest for long weaned preconditioned cattle. Yearlings sold mostly steady with good demand. Slaughter cows were mostly 2.00 to 4.00 lower and slaughter bulls steady to 2.00 lower with moderate demand.

Supply included: 84% Feeder Cattle (41% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 38% Heifers, 19% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 13% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 0% Heifers, 85% Cows, 15% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (4% Stock Cows, 57% Bred Cows, 9% Bred Heifers, 25% Cow-Calf Pairs, 4% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 45%.
