Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady to 4.00 lower with moderate to good demand. Yearlings were mixed showing instances 4.00 lower to 4.00 higher with good to very good demand. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 5.00 lower with moderate to good demand. There was good buyer activity this week showing best interest for long-weaned calf packages.

Supply included: 84% Feeder Cattle (45% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 38% Heifers, 16% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 12% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (2% Stock Cows, 62% Bred Cows, 6% Bred Heifers, 28% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Heifer Pairs, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 52%.
