Compared to last week, feeder steers sold steady to 5.00 higher with instances to 10 higher, yearling steers 2.00-4.00 higher. Feeder heifers were mostly steady to 4.00 higher with instances to 10 higher. There was moderate to good demand for all feeder and yearling classes with good offerings and good buyer activity this week. Buyers showed good interest in weaned and preconditioned steers and heifers. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady to 5.00 higher with instances 8.00 to 10.00 higher. There was good to very good demand for slaughter classes.

Supply included: 86% Feeder Cattle (41% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 14% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (1% Steers, 0% Heifers, 80% Cows, 19% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (6% Stock Cows, 58% Bred Cows, 6% Bred Heifers, 29% Cow-Calf Pairs, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 48%.
