Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold mixed, ranging from 4.00 lower to 4.00 higher with exceptions sharply higher. Demand was good to very good with good supply and active buyer participation. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were unevenly steady with moderate to good demand. Wet weather, localized flooding, and muddy conditions continued to have an impact on cattle movement. this week.

Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (43% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 44% Heifers, 13% Bulls); 8% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 1% Heifers, 82% Cows, 17% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (4% Stock Cows, 54% Bred Cows, 19% Bred Heifers, 20% Cow-Calf Pairs, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 53%.
