Compared to last week, feeder steers sold steady to 5.00 higher and heifers steady to 4.00 higher with moderate to good demand. slaughter cows were mostly 2.00 to 4.00 higher and bulls were mostly steady with moderate demand. Winter weather at the beginning and end of the week restricted cattle movement limiting supply,

Supply included: 89% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 40% Heifers, 11% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 0% Heifers, 84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (1% Stock Cows, 80% Bred Cows, 9% Bred Heifers, 10% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 46%.
