Compared to last week’s market: Feeder Cattle sold steady to 4.00 higher with good demand for weaned packages. Valued added groups sold 5.00-8.00 higher. There was less demand for fleshy non-preconditioned calves and a softer undertone was noted. Slaughter Cows and Bulls sold mostly steady to 3.00 lower.

Supply included: 87% Feeder Cattle (43% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 42% Heifers, 14% Bulls); 10% Slaughter Cattle (0% Heifers, 81% Cows, 19% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (1% Stock Cows, 75% Bred Cows, 3% Bred Heifers, 21% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 59%.
