Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were unevenly steady with prices ranging from 2.00 higher to 2.00 lower. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Extreme temperatures continued to have an impact across the state.

Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (47% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 35% Heifers, 18% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (1% Steers, 0% Heifers, 81% Cows, 18% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (4% Stock Cows, 60% Bred Cows, 8% Bred Heifers, 24% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Heifer Pairs, 4% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 53%.
