Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold unevenly steady to 2.00 higher with the markets trending lower toward the end of the week due to extreme heat. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady.

Supply included: 87% Feeder Cattle (45% Steers, 3% Dairy Steers, 37% Heifers, 15% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 80% Cows, 20% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (4% Stock Cows, 69% Bred Cows, 2% Bred Heifers, 22% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Heifer Pairs, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 61%.
