Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were mostly steady with moderate demand, with long-weaned ( 45+ days), preconditioned feeder cattle in very good demand. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Lighter offerings prevalent this week due to the Memorial Holiday weekend as well as hay cutting in full swing.

Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (44% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 37% Heifers, 18% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 0% Heifers, 79% Cows, 21% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (3% Stock Cows, 67% Bred Cows, 3% Bred Heifers, 23% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Heifer Pairs, 4% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 52%.
