Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were mostly steady to 3.00 higher with good demand. Buyers continue to show the most interest in long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned feeder cattle. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady to 3.00 lower.

Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 42% Heifers, 14% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 1% Heifers, 83% Cows, 16% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (9% Stock Cows, 59% Bred Cows, 5% Bred Heifers, 24% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Heifer Pairs, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 50%.
