Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady to 5.00 lower with exceptions to 5.00 higher on attractive quality calves. There was mostly moderate demand with the weaned and value added calves seeing good demand. Yearlings were mixed with prices ranging from 4.00 lower to 4.00 higher with moderate to good demand. Slaughter cows sold steady to 6.00 lower and slaughter bulls steady to 4.00 lower with moderate to good demand.

Supply included: 86% Feeder Cattle (39% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 42% Heifers, 18% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 12% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 0% Heifers, 82% Cows, 18% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (5% Stock Cows, 61% Bred Cows, 10% Bred Heifers, 21% Cow-Calf Pairs, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 50%.
