Compared to last week feeder steers sold 1.00-3.00 higher, feeder heifers sold 3.00-5.00 higher, with heavy demand on 400-600lb heifers. Slaughter cows sold 5.00-7.00 higher with good demand, Slaughter bulls sold 8.00-10.00 higher. There was moderate demand for all feeder cattle, with good offerings and good buyer activity this week. Buyers showed good interest in weaned steers and heifers with favorable condition.
Supply included: 90% Feeder Cattle (51% Steers, 45% Heifers, 4% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (76% Cows, 24% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (55% Bred Cows, 45% Cow-Calf Pairs).
