Compared to last week feeder steers under 500 lbs steady; over 500 lbs steady-2.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs steady-2.00 lower; over 500 lbs steady-2.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold steady-2.00 lower, Slaughter bulls sold steady-2.00 lower. There was good demand for all feeder cattle, with good offerings and good buyer activity this week. Buyers showed good interest in weaned steers and heifers with favorable condition.
Supply included: 90% Feeder Cattle (50% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 10% Slaughter Cattle (73% Cows, 27% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (50% Bred Cows, 50% Cow-Calf Pairs).
