Compared to last week feeder steers sold steady to 2.00 lower on a limited comparison. Feeder heifers sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower except 500 to 600 lbs heifers those sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. There was good demand for feeder classes. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower. There was moderate demand for slaughter classes.
Supply included: 86% Feeder Cattle (36% Steers, 46% Heifers, 19% Bulls); 14% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (50% Bred Cows, 50% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 66%.
