Compared to last week, boning type slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 lower, while breaking type slaughter cows were 1.00 to 2.00 higher and slaughter bulls were 2.00 to 3.00 higher. There were too few comparable feeder cattle the previous week to establish an adequate market comparison. Demand was good; market activity and buyer interest were active. Offerings of cattle were fairly heavy. Cattle quality was plain to attractive.

Supply included: 67% Feeder Cattle (39% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 38% Heifers, 18% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers); 32% Slaughter Cattle (82% Cows, 18% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 28%.
