Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 3.00 to 4.00 higher, boning type slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 higher, and slaughter bulls were 5.00 to 6.00 higher. Feeder cattle were mostly steady to 6.00 higher. Demand was good; market activity and buyer interest were active. Offerings of cattle were mostly moderate. Cattle quality was average to attractive.

Supply included: 77% Feeder Cattle (19% Steers, 3% Dairy Steers, 48% Heifers, 30% Bulls); 17% Slaughter Cattle (72% Cows, 28% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (67% Bred Cows, 33% Cow-Calf Pairs); 2% Slaughter Goats (100% Kids). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 28%.
