Compared to two weeks ago, slaughter cattle were mostly 5 to 7 higher. Feeder cattle were mostly 10 to 12 higher. Demand was moderate; market activity and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was average. 3 hogs
Supply included: 64% Feeder Cattle (29% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 48% Heifers, 22% Bulls); 28% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 8% Replacement Cattle (76% Bred Cows, 24% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 9%.
