Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 4.00 to 5.00 higher and boning type slaughter cows were 2.00 to 3.00 higher; there were too few comparable slaughter bulls the previous sale to establish an adequate market comparison. Feeder cattle were mostly 2.00 to 8.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good; market activity and buyer interest were moderate to active. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was mostly average. Holstein baby calves ranged 10.00 to 25.00 per head.

Supply included: 75% Feeder Cattle (18% Steers, 51% Heifers, 31% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 24% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls); 0% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 28%.
