Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 6.00 to 7.00 lower, boning type slaughter cows were 4.00 to 5.00 lower, and slaughter bulls were 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers were mostly 4.00 to 7.00 higher; heifers were mostly 1.00 to 4.00 higher; while feeder bulls were mixed, 3.00 lower to 5.00 higher. Demand was light to moderate; market activity and buyer interest were slow to moderate. Offerings of cattle were mostly moderate. Cattle quality was mostly plain to average.

Supply included: 62% Feeder Cattle (16% Steers, 51% Heifers, 33% Bulls); 35% Slaughter Cattle (96% Cows, 4% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (28% Bred Cows, 72% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 18%.
