Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 12.00 to 13.00 lower and boning type slaughter cows were 10.00 lower; slaughter bulls were 4.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder cattle were mostly 1.00 to 5.00 higher. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were mostly moderate. Cattle quality was average.
Supply included: 76% Feeder Cattle (18% Steers, 50% Heifers, 30% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 22% Slaughter Cattle (71% Cows, 29% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (13% Stock Cows, 25% Bred Cows, 38% Bred Heifers, 25% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 23%.
