Compared to last week, boning type slaughter cows were 2.00 to 3.00 higher, while breaking type slaughter cows were 1.00 to 2.00 lower and slaughter bulls were sharply lower. There were too few comparable feeder steers to establish an adequate market comparison; feeder heifers were mostly steady to 2.00 lower; while feeder bulls were mostly steady to 5.00 higher. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was mostly average.

Supply included: 76% Feeder Cattle (17% Steers, 44% Heifers, 38% Bulls); 21% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (40% Bred Cows, 7% Bred Heifers, 53% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 22%.
