Compared to last week, slaughter cows were mostly 5.00 higher, while bulls were mostly steady. Feeder cattle were mostly 4.00 to 11.00 lower. Demand was light; market activity and buyer interest were light. Offerings were light. Cattle quality was average to plain.
Supply included: 67% Feeder Cattle (22% Steers, 45% Heifers, 33% Bulls); 29% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 5% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (50% Bred Cows, 50% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
