Compared to last week, slaughter cows were mostly 3.00 higher, while bulls were mostly 4.00 higher. Feeder steers and bulls were mostly 2.00 to 6.00 higher, while heifers were mostly 4.00 higher. Demand was moderate; market activity and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle moderate to heavy. Cattle quality was mostly plain to average, with a few attractive cattle.
Supply included: 65% Feeder Cattle (37% Steers, 33% Heifers, 29% Bulls); 28% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 5% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (2% Stock Cows, 80% Bred Cows, 18% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 23%.
