Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were mostly 1 to 7 lower. Feeder cattle were mostly 4 to 7 higher. Demand was higher; market activity and buyer interest were high. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was above average. 2 sheep
Supply included: 80% Feeder Cattle (36% Steers, 44% Heifers, 19% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (89% Cows, 11% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (4% Stock Cows, 64% Bred Cows, 32% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 11%.
