Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were mostly 2 to 4 lower. Feeder cattle were mostly 3 to 10 lower. Demand was moderate; market activity and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle was moderate. Cattle quality was below average.
Supply included: 67% Feeder Cattle (33% Steers, 42% Heifers, 25% Bulls); 22% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 11% Replacement Cattle (2% Stock Cows, 62% Bred Cows, 36% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 14%.
