Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were mostly steady to 2 higher. Feeder cattle were mostly 5 to 10 higher. Demand was higher; market activity and buyer interest were higher. Offerings were moderate. Cattle quality was better than average. 1 goat
Supply included: 66% Feeder Cattle (24% Steers, 47% Heifers, 30% Bulls); 23% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 10% Replacement Cattle (83% Bred Cows, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 10%.
