Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were mostly steady. Feeder cattle were too few to compare. Demand was moderate; market activity and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were low due to wet weather. Cattle quality was below average. 7 hogs

Supply included: 44% Feeder Cattle (27% Steers, 53% Heifers, 19% Bulls); 41% Slaughter Cattle (83% Cows, 17% Bulls); 15% Replacement Cattle (86% Bred Cows, 14% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 29%.
