Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 3.00 to 4.00 higher, while boning type slaughter cows were 1.00 to 2.00 lower and slaughter bulls were 6.00 to 7.00 lower. There were too few comparable feeder cattle to establish an adequate market comparison. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were light due to excessive heat. Cattle quality was average. Baby calves ranged 60.00 to 120.00 per head.

Supply included: 59% Feeder Cattle (35% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 37% Heifers, 27% Bulls); 31% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 10% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
