Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 higher, while boning type slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 lower and slaughter bulls were 6.00 to 7.00 lower. Feeder steers were mixed, mostly 4.00 lower to 6.00 higher; four-weight heifers were steady to 4.00 lower, while five- and six-weights were mostly 5.00 to 7.00 higher; and feeder bulls were mostly 3.00 to 9.00 higher. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were heavy. Cattle quality was average.
Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (32% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 41% Heifers, 26% Bulls); 15% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 17%.
