Compared to last week, boning type slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 higher; there were too few breaking type slaughter cows to establish an adequate market comparison; and there were too few slaughter bulls the previous week to establish an adequate market comparison. Feeder steers were 2.00 to 6.00 lower on a light test; four-weight heifers were steady to 3.00 higher, while five- and six-weights were mostly 3.00 to 4.00 lower; and feeder bulls were mostly 12.00 to 14.00 lower on a fairly light test. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was average. Baby calves ranged 60.00 to 80.00 per head.

Supply included: 87% Feeder Cattle (27% Steers, 51% Heifers, 22% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 24%.
