Compared to last week, slaughter cows were 3.00 to 5.00 higher; there were too few comparable slaughter bulls the previous week to establish an adequate market comparison. Feeder steers were mostly steady to 1.00 higher on a fairly light test; heifers were mostly 4.00 to 6.00 higher; while feeder bulls were mostly 4.00 to 6.00 lower. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was average.

Supply included: 78% Feeder Cattle (29% Steers, 41% Heifers, 30% Bulls); 10% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 12% Replacement Cattle (62% Bred Cows, 10% Bred Heifers, 28% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 18%.
