Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers were mostly steady to 2.00 higher; feeder bulls mostly 1.00 to 3.00 higher; while heifers were unevenly steady. Demand was moderate to good; market activity and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were light to moderate. Cattle quality was average. Baby calves ranged 10.00 to 75.00 per head.

Supply included: 70% Feeder Cattle (26% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 31% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 22% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (4% Stock Cows, 72% Bred Cows, 24% Cow-Calf Pairs); 1% Slaughter Sheep/Lambs (59% Hair Breeds, 32% Ewes, 9% Hair Bucks); 5% Slaughter Goats (50% Kids, 23% Nannies/Does, 16% Bucks/Billies, 12% Wethers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 24%.
