Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 lower, while boning type slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were steady to 1.00 higher. Feeder steers and feeder bulls were mostly steady to 4.00 higher, while feeder heifers were mostly steady to 3.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good; market activity and buyer interest were mostly moderate with some active. Offerings of cattle were light to moderate. Cattle quality was mostly average. Baby calves ranged 5.00 to 90.00 per head; "by the head" calves were 220.00 to 300.00.

Supply included: 69% Feeder Cattle (29% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 42% Heifers, 28% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 21% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (1% Stock Cows, 57% Bred Cows, 1% Bred Heifers, 39% Cow-Calf Pairs, 2% Bulls); 2% Slaughter Sheep/Lambs (85% Hair Breeds, 15% Ewes); 4% Slaughter Goats (75% Kids, 10% Nannies/Does, 10% Bucks/Billies, 5% Wethers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
