Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were mostly steady to 3 higher. Feeder cattle were mostly 2 to 10 lower. Demand was lighter; market activity and buyer interest were lighter. Offerings of cattle were lighter due to weather. Cattle quality was below average. Baby calves were 15 to 50.

Supply included: 55% Feeder Cattle (22% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 44% Heifers, 28% Bulls, 4% Dairy Heifers); 39% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (8% Stock Cows, 92% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 33%.
