Compared to last week, slaughter cows were about steady, while bulls were 1.00 to 2.00 higher. There were too few comparable feeder cattle to establish an adequate market comparison, however a generally higher undertone was noted. Demand was moderate; market activity and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were fairly light. Cattle quality was average. Baby calves ranged 25.00 to 75.00 per head.

Supply included: 73% Feeder Cattle (21% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 38% Heifers, 38% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 24% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (83% Bred Cows, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 25%.
