Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 7.00 to 8.00 lower, boning type slaughter cows were 3.00 to 4.00 lower, and slaughter bulls were 4.00 to 5.00 lower. There were too few comparable feeder steers the previous week to establish an adequate market comparison; feeder heifers and bulls were mostly 1.00 to 5.00 higher. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were fairly heavy. Cattle quality was plain to average.

Supply included: 63% Feeder Cattle (12% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 50% Heifers, 37% Bulls); 35% Slaughter Cattle (84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (83% Bred Cows, 9% Bred Heifers, 9% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
