Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were steady to 1.00 higher, while boning type slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 lower. There were too few comparable feeder steers and bulls to establish an adequate market comparison; feeder heifers, 400-550 lbs., were steady to 3.00 lower, while 550-700 lbs. were mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Demand was light to moderate; market activity and buyer interest were slow to moderate. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was plain to average. Baby calves ranged 25.00 to 50.00 per head.

Supply included: 78% Feeder Cattle (19% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 47% Heifers, 32% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 19% Slaughter Cattle (89% Cows, 11% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (40% Bred Cows, 60% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 18%.
