Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were mostly 1 to 4 higher. Feeder cattle were mostly steady to 5 higher with some lighter calves as much as 10 higher. Demand was higher; market activity and buyer interest were higher. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was above average. 1 goat

Supply included: 76% Feeder Cattle (32% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 34% Heifers, 29% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 21% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (63% Bred Cows, 37% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
