Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were steady to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers were mostly steady to 4.00 higher; heifers mostly steady to 7.00 lower; and four-weight feeder bulls were 4.00 to 5.00 lower, while five- and six-weights were 1.00 to 4.00 higher. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were mostly moderate. Offerings of cattle were very heavy. Cattle quality was average to attractive.

Supply included: 86% Feeder Cattle (28% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 48% Heifers, 22% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 12% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (42% Bred Cows, 58% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 21%.
